Step 2: Pre-reading

1. T: Now we are talking about jobs,and our friends are also talking about jobs ,Who are they?

Ss: Su Hai and Mike.(板书呈现人物贴图）

T: Yes.They are talking about their parents’ jobs.

3.Listen and circle

  Q:What jobs are mentioned in the dialogue?(take the worksheet and listen to the tape.)

Step 2:While-reading

1.Listen and match （自读书上P48-49页，圈划人物职业的关键词）

    2.read and complete

    T:You know they do different jobs,and you know what do they do right?(板书呈现标题并导入课题What do they do?)

T:We know Mike’s father is a teacher ,so what does he do at work?What subject does he teach? Do you want to know?

S:Yes.
