以游戏和简单易懂的连线形式教学单词、词组及culture time里的句型大

意并巩固句型 Is it…? Can it...? Does it have...?It is... , it has... ,it can...

Crab: It’s in season now. Its body is hard and round. It’s orange.

分组,让学生用喜欢的方式读课文。

熟悉理解字母U的发音。

鼓励学生说出更多的u发音的。

让学生总结u的三种发音。

Step 1 Enjoy a song

1. Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

S: Hello, teacher.

T: Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you, too.

2. enjoy a song

T: Do you like the song?  

S: Yes.

T: What animals can you see in the song?

S: I can see...

 T: Today we are going to U3 our animal friends, period 3. Look this is the learning aims, please look carefully.

Step 2 Presentation

Play a game and learn the new words

T: First let’s play a game: Magic mind. You can use these sentences to guess what animal

it is. Ready? Go!

S: Is it? Can it...? Does it have...?

T: Teach new words: pandas ,  bald eagles ,  polar bears ,  kangaroos

 Where can you see these animal friends?  Let’s think and match

S: We can see... in ...

T: Teach new words: China ,   the US ,   Australia ,  China

S: Read the new words one by one

T: Good! Let’s go to culture time and read after the tape

Step 3 Cartoon time

  1. Watch the cartoon

T: Now we have know lots of animals, let’s fly to Nanjing. In Nanjing we can see this animal.

  It’s small, but its body is hard and round. What’s this?

S: It’s a crab.

T: Teach: crab  It’s small and it can run. Look, it runs to the seaside and meet Sam and

Bobby.     It is Sam and Bobby’s new friend.

  How many legs does the crab have? Let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question

S: It has eight legs.

2. Listen, read and act

T: Next, let’s read after the tape.

T: Well done, boys and girls. Now boys read in Sam, girls read in Bobby, go!

T: Good job! Let’s act. Pay attention to pronunciation, emotion and action. And you can also make a new ending.

Step 4 Sound time

  1. Read the words: bus  duck  summer  sun  umbrella

T: Look what’s this in the pictures?

S:...

T: What’s near the bus? Look, it’s a rubber duck. Does he have an umbrella?

S: Yes, he does. He carries an umbrella.

T: But why does he carry an umbrella?

S: Because there’s a sun, maybe in summer, so it’s a summer sun. We know it’s a sunny day

in the sunshine.

 Does he like the sunny day?

S: No, he doesn’t like a sunny day. Rubber duck likes rain.

T: Now, please read the words after me, Can you find the pronunciation of “u” in the words?

3. Exercise and ticking time

T: finish “let’s try” and “let’s check”, 试着读出这些单词和按字母U 的读音给单词归类,最后完成本节课的学习目标

Homework  家庭作业

1. 模仿 cartoon语音语调并进行表演.

2. 自己尝试再制作一张动物档案并介绍。   准备下节课交流。

3. 自己查字典和运用网络,用英文描述外国的一个小动物。
