素材与策略

Step 1 Lead-in

Whats the song about or what do you hear? -I hear seasons, such as spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Today we will learn U5 Seasons.

Step 2 Presentation

T: Do you know how many seasons are there? -Four seasons.

What are they? -They are spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Hows the weather or whats the weather like in spring/ summer/ autumn and winter? -In spring, it is warm. In summer, it is hot. In autumn, it is cool. In winter, it is cold.

Can you remember all the words we learn? Now Lets play a Bomb game to test. When you see a word, you say the word. But when you see the bomb, you say Bomb. OK?

Do you know whats the story mainly about? Lets watch the cartoon and find the answer. Is the text about seasons or weather? -Its about seasons

How many parts can the story be divided into? Scan the story and answer the question..

In the spring, what do they do? Read the story and answer the question. In spring, they fly kites and go boating.

In summer, fall and winter, what do they do? Work in groups and find the answer.  

Step 3 Practice

  1. Read after the tape and try to imitate the pronounciation and tone.

  2. Work in groups and choose one way to read the story.

  3. Work in groups and act the story out.

  4. Introduce your favourite season to us.

  5. Talk about what you can do for the nature and the earth.

Step 4 Homework

1. Read the story for three times.

2. Finish the worksheet.
